Thank you Internets!
I seriously love that people have time to create this stuff. And I especially love that I have time to find it.

How cute was this?
In a lame challenge last night on Idol they brought the contestants out one at a time and split them into two groups. Little David was the last one brought out and it was announced that he was safe. Ryan then asked him to pick which group of three he'd like to join. David turned several shades of red and then took a seat on the stage, refusing to choose. It was totally adorable. Next week is Andrew Lloyd Webber! I'm scared and excited all at the same time.

Sacha Sacket
I just fell in love with this song all over again.
I have heard this song hundreds of times and I think finally, for the first time, I've listened to the lyrics.
He's playing Saturday April 12 at the Woodshed 10pm.
$5 cover. See you there.

Academia
I am totally in love with this song right now.
You can be my alphabet and I will be your calculator
And together we’ll work out on the escalator
I will time you as you run up the down
And you’ll measure my footsteps as I blow through this town
The mean of our heights is divided by the nights
Which is times’d by the daggers and the route of all our fights,
The pass of your poem is to swathe me in your knowing
And the beauty of the word is that you don’t have to show it
Oh academia you can’t pick me up
Soothe me with your words when I need your love
I am a dash and you are a dot
When will you see that I am all that you’ve got
I’m a binary code that you cracked long ago
But to you I’m just a novel that you wish you’d never wrote
I’m greater than x and lesser than y, so why is it
that I still can’t catch your eye?
You’re a cryptic crossword, a song I’ve never heard
While I sit here drawing circles I’m afraid of being hurt
Oh academia you can’t pick me up
Soothe me with your words when I need your love
You’re a difficult equation with a knack for heart evasion
Will you listen to my proof or will you add another page on
It appears to me the graph has come and stolen all the laughs
It appears to me the pen has over analysed again
And if I am a number I’m infinity plus one
And if you are five words you are afraid to be the one
And if you are a number you’re infinity plus one
And if I am four words then I am needing of your love
Oh academia you can’t pick me up
Soothe me with your words when I need your love

Do yourself a favor!
Go to the Depot and get tickets for this show. It's going to be amazing.
Friday, May 2nd.
Despite the incredible wave of momentum created by their recent Oscar win, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova come to Salt Lake with the same quiet confidence they have always posessed.
The formerly obscure indie film, Once, was brought into the the biggest spotlight in the entertainment industry when it was nominated for and won an Academy Award (Best Original Song). The night was highlited by thier heartfelt live performance of the song “Falling Slowly,” as well as their humble and inspiring acceptance speeches.
In addition to writing the music for Once, Hansard and Irglova also play the leading roles and perform all of the fantastic the songs featured in the film. The chemistry achieved by the duo both on screen and performing live is uncanny. May 2nd will provide a fantastic chance to experience this beautiful and honest music in person.
